Gerald Anderson has denied rumors that he and girlfriend Julia Barrett got married in secret over the holidays, pointing out that such special moments should be shared and celebrated with loved ones.

“That’s not true. I would never do that to Julia or the public. [Getting married] It’s not something you hide from people. We’ll get to it eventually, but I don’t know when,” Gerard said at a recent media rally to promote his latest film, RC Delos his Reyes “Unravel.” told Inquirer Entertainment.

“Is it Julia? Yes she is. I want to. I’m already close to achieving it, but I’d like to move further on the timeline just in case,” he explained.

Gerard added that he celebrated New Year’s Day with Julia and her family. I prefer quality time and good conversation,” he said. I think it’s important for everyone to ask for help.”

Asked for the 2022 assessment, Gerald said: Personally, I have had many blessings and opportunities to learn. My business was OK. It was a busy schedule, but it was also nice to find time to rest and recuperate. ”

In 2023, Gerald said he plans to focus more on his business. He also hopes to be given the chance to work on another teleseries and big screen project.

The movie “Unravel”, in which Gerald co-starred with Kylie Padilla, was shot entirely in Switzerland. As Lucy and Noah’s love story unfolds, we attempt to tackle the controversial and sensitive issue of suicide.

“Always friendly”

Of what he learned about the issue while making the film, Gerard said: We are all struggling to solve our own problems. I’m sharing stories and laughing with you now, but I don’t know what you’ll have to go through when you leave. That’s why it’s important to always be polite, courteous, and kind. Also, if someone is around who is rude or toxic, just walk away. Don’t waste your time spending time with them. ”

Kylie, on the other hand, said they handled the subject matter very carefully because they didn’t want it to appear romanticized. “It really resonated with the character Lucy. We’re watching the movie through her eyes. This is her journey,” she began.

“I don’t want to argue too much, but you’ll see it when you see it. Reading the script gave me hope and a positive outlook on life. Suicide is real, so this movie is a good conversation starter.” It will be,” she told reporters.

“Lucy’s journey will be difficult, but Kylie’s fans and her home network (GMA 7) will be very proud of what she has achieved here,” added Gerald. “Her role was intense and physically demanding, but Kylie persevered. That’s when I saw her passion and love for her work.

“When we’re not shooting a scene, or as soon as the director says ‘Cut!’ She made her job so easy for me. Add to this the fact that she shot the film in Switzerland, a cold place.

Kylie said she still couldn’t believe she was given the chance to work with rival network ABS-CBN talent Gerald. It’s an honor to be there, and I learned a lot from watching him work during the shoot,” she said. “He’s humble. I thought he had a huge ego. I learned that from him.”

Gerard is happy that he and Kylie finally got close thanks to the project. “It was very fast. It was easy to work with her. Swabe Ann Rahat, because she seems like one of the boys too,” he said.

“The setup helped us out,” Kylie added. They grow closer as the film progresses. I think Gerald and I have maximized that. ”

“Unravel” is one of three collaborations between MavX Productions and Star Cinema. The other two are ‘Swing’ starring Jane Oineza and RK Bagassing. “I Love Lizzie”, which will be screened in movie theaters nationwide from January 18, and will feature Carlo Aquino and Barbie Imperial.
