Rita Ora has become a staple of Sydney’s social scene since joining The Voice Australia as a judge in 2021.
The 32-year-old British pop star is often photographed enjoying the city’s glamorous events and quickly makes a second living here, as she spends much of the year here filming singing competitions. I came to call it my hometown.
She loves this country so much that she decided to release her first album since 2018 in Sydney.

“I am really happy to celebrate my album in Australia. I feel so welcomed, loved and supported in Australia,” she said.

The up-and-coming hitmaker unveiled her new album Thursday night at an intimate event at the J&M Cocktail Bar at the Angel Hotel.
She arrived at the glamorous event with her Hollywood director husband, Taika Waititi, 47.
The two entered the venue arm in arm, with big smiles on their faces, watching every nook and cranny of the night’s power couple.

Rita looked perfect in a corset top that leaves little to the imagination, paired with a connected flowy skirt.
The international pop star flaunted her incredibly toned abs in the ensemble and accented her look with chunky necklaces and bracelets.
Rita likened the new album to a “diary” and suggested that the album, which she named after her husband, will be the most personal to her fans yet.
She said “This album really means a lot to me. It’s like a diary of the last few years. It’s my sound and it feels so true to me and to me today.”
