In a new YouTube video, Sammy revealed that he originally applied for the show (Series 7) in 2021 when he was just 21 and was ghosted by the producers.
she said:”[With] Throughout the application process, you have to fill out tons of forms about yourself, answer questions, and tell funny stories. Then I need to insert a 60 second clip of him telling people behind the scenes about himself.
“Basically, sell yourself for 60 seconds and why you think you can be on this show and why you’re going to bring something to the show that no one else has done before.
“So I did it when I was 21, and it was a disaster. No calls, no Zoom calls, no people, nothing.

“That’s another feature of the show, and it’s kind of cruel. If you apply, you know you can’t participate because you can’t hear anything.”
Sammy didn’t give up and decided to apply for the next year’s show.
A second application she sent led to a Zoom call with a producer, convinced Sammy that she was finally on the show.
she said: “I was like, ‘Yes, I can,’ and I’m telling people at work to my mom. I was like, ‘Yes, I’m going to play this season.’ I didn’t hear anything.”
