Fairfield — Order popcorn for another fun weekend at the cinema.

The showing at a local theater marks the return of the longtime favorite, Spider-Man, this time in animation. As he traverses the multiverse, he encounters Spider-People fighting new enemies.

Also, a horror movie about a family facing evil while fighting the grief of losing their mother will be shown on the big screen.

Nationwide store openings are as follows.

“Boogeyman,” In this production, Sadie Harper and her sister Sawyer are shaken by the recent death of their mother and do not receive much support from their father. Her father is also a therapist and has dealt with her own pain. When a desperate patient suddenly shows up at his home for help, he leaves behind a terrifying supernatural entity that preys on his family and feeds on the suffering of his victims. The film is rated PG-13.

“Spider-Man: Beyond the Spiderverse” In this installment, Brooklyn-born Spider-Man Miles Morales traverses the Multiverse and joins forces with Gwen Stacy and a new team of Spider-People to face off against the most powerful villains ever encountered. This movie is rated PG.

Here are the openings for the limited release:

“Worried citizens” In this work, a socially progressive man’s attempt to improve his neighborhood in Tel Aviv unexpectedly fails. It’s a satirical allegory about the insidious way privilege unleashes internal prejudices. This movie is not rated.

“Follow her” In this piece, Jess (Dani Barker) finally finds her charm. It involved surreptitiously filming eerie interactions encountered through online job listings and using the twists and turns of others to fuel their streaming success. In the next episode, she is hired by Tom (Luke Cook) to write the script’s ending in a secluded, luxurious shack. This client is not what she looks like, and even if she gets a lot of money, here she doesn’t actually pay, or her life could be lost. This movie is not rated.

“Pather Pio” Set in the final days of World War I, the film follows young Italian soldiers returning to San Giovanni Rotondo, a land of impoverishment with a tradition of violence and submission to the impenetrable rule of the Church and its wealthy. A movie depicting the landlords. Families are hopeless and men are hurt even though they have won. Padre Pio, too, evokes an aura of charisma, saintliness, and grandiose visions of Jesus, Mary, and the Devil himself, arriving at a remote Capuchin monastery to begin his ministry. The eve of Italy’s first free elections becomes the scene of a massacre with a metaphorical dimension. It is an apocalyptic event that changes the course of history. This movie is not rated.
