CORONATION street star Tina O’Brien have signed a new big-money contract to keep her at Cobbles
The actress, who played Sarah Pratt on ITV’s soap show for 24 years, has extended her contract for another 12 months.
That’s after Cory kept three more of the major stars by offering them a bumper deal to stay at ITV Soap for another year.
A source told The Sun: “Tina is on a one-year deal and couldn’t be happier.
“She considers Coronation Street her home and loves playing Sarah.
“Everybody is really happy and the fans will be happy.”


It’s been an eventful few months for her character – and there’s no doubt there’s a lot more drama in store for their character.
Tina – Joined the show in 1999 but had a brief hiatus between 2008 and 2015 and is considered a central figure on the soap.
Last year, she was embroiled in a dramatic storyline after her husband, Adam Barlow, was accused of having an affair with an old college friend, Lydia Chambers.
After murdering Leo and his father, Teddy Tompkins, a businessman working in an Underworld factory is also unaware that his uncle Stephen is the killer.
Tina’s co-star and I Celebrity contestant Sue Cleaver also signed a big-money deal to stay on the soap.
Cory legends Alan Halsall, Andy Whyment and Jack P. Shepard have signed new contracts to stay on the soap.
