Jordan replacing Stallone as director feels like the real-life Rocky trajectory of the series, but at the same time Jordan is trying to cut it off. Creed III From the Rocky series. Rocky Balboa is only mentioned briefly here, but for the most part, the film’s story of confronting fame and money, retiring and dealing, trapped emotions, and open wounds is all about how the film works. is completely different. Rockysequels approached a similar storyline. Creed III Instead, these themes are rooted in the peculiarities of black Americans and their experiences within unforgiving institutions. Starring Nicolas Cage as Dracula, this comedic take on the legendary vampire follows his squire Robert Montague Renfield (Nicholas Hoult) as he tries to fix a toxic relationship with his immortal boss. figure is drawn.
From our review:
Holt, as Renfield, plays a suitably clumsy and understated part, but perhaps the most sincere role in a cynical project, he manages to elicit something akin to comedic and dramatic soul. He’s the only actor that seems to be allowed. He’s also the only one who isn’t bothered by lines that play like amateur improvisations. He doesn’t hate to see It’s a bare minimum for an on-screen actor, but it’s also a prerequisite for nearly every other aspect of the film. Renfield From mind-boggling action that refuses to splurge on thrills and gross hilarity, to a peppered tale of a man who finds a way to piss off his hated boss, it just can’t fill up. In that sense, this should be the most relatable comedy in the world. Instead, it’s just a series of disconnected images pieced together with half-baked jokes that can practically be put in the mouths of other characters. The result will feel like defeat.

Just weeks out of theaters, the latest adventure in the Fast and Furious franchise is accelerating home viewing. This time, villain Jason Momoa joins the ever-growing staff.
From our review:
Fast X It suffers from the same situation as recent MCU movies. So much inner mythology that it feels more like homework than popcorn entertainment. “The days of one man at the wheel of a car making a difference are over,” Ames coolly tells Dom as he prepares for the film’s blazing physics-defying action climax. , will inevitably involve one man at the wheel of the car. Emes’ prediction is wrong, and the very thought of it must be wrong. But the days when such goofy, bombastic lines keep viewers coming back to the series may be coming to an end.
