Actor Anushka Sharma finally made his Cannes debut. Photos and videos of her from her first appearance at the 76th Cannes Film Festival arrived on social media Friday night. The video shows Anushka walking down the stairs at the Cannes Film Festival. She looked gorgeous as ever in an off-the-shoulder dress with voluminous floral detailing. She enhanced her look with a smooth bun and pretty makeup. She wore minimal jewelry.

Why is Anushka Sharma attending the Cannes Film Festival?

Anushka is currently attending the 2023 Cannes Film Festival, which celebrates women in cinema. Actor Kate Winslet will also be attending the event. The opportunity came just days before Anushka and her husband, cricketer Virat Kohli, met with French Ambassador to India Emmanuel Lenin at the French Embassy in New Delhi.

It is not known when Anushka arrived in Cannes. The actor was spotted at Mumbai Airport on May 22nd. She stayed with Virat Kohli when she returned to Mumbai after completing her trip to Bangalore. She was in Bangalore and Virat played an IPL match as part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore team. After arriving in Bengaluru, Anushka posted a glimpse of rain in the city. On May 24, she was spotted again with Virat Kohli at Mumbai airport.

Anushka Sharma’s next film

Anushka was last seen in Kara. She appeared in a special cameo appearance. The actor is next set to star in her upcoming sports biopic Chakda Express. Directed by Prosit Roy. Based on the life of former Indian cricketer Juran Goswami, this sports biographical film will be available exclusively on Netflix.

She finished filming the movie last December. She shared a few photos of the cast and crew filming the final day inside the cricket stadium, where she wrote in the caption of her post: Go shoot! (blue heart, clapboard and cricket bat emojis).
