Succession Season 4 Reveals Waystar Royco CEO, Episode Available on UK Streaming Platforms
What is Inheritance?
Produced by Jesse Armstrong, the series follows the prolific Roy family, owners of Waystar Royco, one of the world’s largest media conglomerates.
When CEO Logan Roy, played by Brian Cox, leaves the business citing health problems, his children vie to replace him.
The finale, “With Open Eyes,” finally reveals Logan’s successor and who will become CEO.
This satirical drama is believed to have been inspired by the Murdoch family, as the series contains similarities between Rupert Murdoch and his children.
But Armstrong told The New York Times in 2019 that various media moguls, including the Mercers and the Redstones, shaped the series.
